There are many things that go into selling a home, but there are some basics that make the process easier. I’ll work with you throughout the experience to ensure that your home sells for the best price and in a timely manner, but here are some simple things that you can do that will really make a difference:
Getting Ready to Sell
- Declutter your home
- Clean up the garage, shed, and yard
- Sell or donate any unwanted items
- Deep clean your entire house
- Repair any issues with the house
- Paint goes a long way!
- Fix up the yard
- Add some colorful flowers
- Neutralize your home
On the Day of the Showing
- Make sure ALL rooms are clean
- Make the beds in the bedrooms
- Make sure there are no dishes in the sink
- Make the home smell good
- Let the light in
- Put out fresh flowers
- Play background music
- Take your pets with you or have them secured in an appropriate area
